Et voilà!

Updated to v1.1! / Aggiornato alla versione 1.1! – Vedi link in fondo ↓

That’s words-o-matic, the simplest (I think) feed reader for MacOS X dashboard. I wanted to create something original while keeping it really, really simple. So, the “back” of this widget shows only a cut like those in homemade saving-boxes, so you type in it, or paste the Rss feed url of the blog or site you’re watching at the moment, and just press enter or click around to make it saved. Then, automatically, daily entries are shown, day for day.

If you double-click with your mouse pointer over the article body, the feed page with the list of posts and articles is opened in your browser. As default feed, I added in one from a blog a friend of mine and I own. Since it is a feed reader made for text-only entries, nowadays most HTML streams feature in their posts images too, which are clickable directly from the front of widget; anyway images from different sources don’t stay at the same position, so it’s almost impossible to force all of them in such a little space. So, if you are interested in a article, you should always double-click the article itself to read and view the entire feed source, at least in this version. As well as, in this first version, are not allowed multiple instances of the same widget. But, as I said earlier, it’s the simplest one, indeed.
